Projects PHD Apartment

The interior of PHD is a modern, laconic and technological space of a two-level apartment.

The apartment is designed in the traditional, capacious minimalist style typical of MONO architects, offering durable solutions and allowing a focus on functionality and variability.

The geometry of the space has been carefully calculated. Each part of the apartment has multifunctional solutions that emphasize strengths and offer different use cases.

The core of the first floor is the public area connecting the hallway, hallway, kitchen and living room. Wall-integrated partitions make it possible to isolate the kitchen during cooking if necessary. When closed, they are invisible.

The second block of the first floor is a multifunctional room. Now it is a guest bedroom with a bathroom; in the future, space can be transformed into a nursery. Also on the first level, there is a utility room with a laundry room.

The master bedroom and study are located on the second floor. The hall space serves the dual function of transit and cloakroom. It was possible to use this space rationally thanks to the integration of cabinets; their facades imitate wall panels, without attracting attention.

The center of the entire composition of the apartment is the study, which opens onto a double-height space, connected to it by a glass partition. The office offers a breathtaking view of the city skyline and the public area on ​​the first floor.

The second floor smoothly flows into the first – the space of the master bedroom hangs over the hall in a large light cube.

A restrained colour scheme has been chosen for the interior, with one dominant colour, grey, which is used in three shades. Rich grey wall panels, warm floor tones, accent light details.

The best materials, premium Italian furniture and the most modern engineering solutions have been selected for the implementation of the interior. The “smart home” system is integrated, all scenarios for the use of light and climate control are remotely programmed.
